Excellent! I'd love to see some process shots of your work. It may be a Winter scene, but your stuff all has such warmth--something I struggle with when working digitally.
You've got a terrific style! The matching wrapped postures on the girl and penguin work perfectly. And looking at your process sketches, the beautiful red of the bench really ties them together.
he, just wanted to thank you for passing on my blog and leaving such a nice comment. I do believe I understand why you like my retro style ;) great work!
Hi Kirstie! Thanks for the lovely comment on my blog.:) I love your style and the line work - it's so inspiring! And what a cute penguin, just makes me want to pick him up.
This is simply wonderful! Aaaaw poor penquin! When you see a penquin shivering that's when you know it's really cold. Love the subtle textures you have here.
Hi Kirstie, I can't believe I spelt penguin as penquin... TWICE! Scary, huh!? Scarier still is I've been employed in the past as a copywriter! I did mean all that I said though : )
Haha, I hadn't even noticed that Alisa! Don't worry - my spelling is atrocious! Thanks for your lovely comments!
Thanks so much everyone! I really enjoyed looking at all your great work. Thank you for leaving me these lovely comments! Hope you have a really perfect weekend xo xo
p.s. Hey Gavin - I guess she could've helped the poor boy out and put him in her pocket! He does look cold. Mind you then he wouldn't have got so much sympathy from everyone. He's wrapped up warm inside my living room now, so all is well :-)
OMG this is so cute, I have a coat exactly like that too!!
